Lakeside Romance

What's more Minnesota than a lake? Or a more peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life? The soothing hues of the sunrise reflecting off clear, calm waters make their debut in the invitation suite by Katie Murphy Design. The bouquet and floral accessories from Shara's Floral Designs reflect the moment when the Minnesota lakes meet the sky, a botanical expression of the captivating scenery surrounding the lake, from the warm corals of summer to the crystalline lavenders and whites of winter.

I accessed my childhood visuals of sitting by the lake and designed the water ripples of a lake lapping at the rocky shoreline.

Into the Woods

The storied North Woods are a vivid showcase of the state’s rich ecological diversity. The forest envelops you in a world where towering trees stretch to the sky, their leaves whispering in the gentle breeze. The tranquil splendor of this untouched world is captured in a cascading bouquet by Bumble Fleur, nodding to the natural flora of ferns, shrubs and wildflowers. In the heart of the woods, sunlight casts dappled patterns of light and shadow, inspiring the earthy color palette of the invitation suite by Mori & Co.

With light ferns reminiscent of the forest floor, a soft and silky green ribbon, locally grown and dried elements for an ethereal touch, our bouquet embodies wilderness.

City Sunsets

Minnesota's cityscapes are especially captivating in the twilight hours, when the sky turns into a magnificent canvas of deep purples and soft peach hues—just like the bouquet created by Petals & Beans. The artful invitation suite by Hunt Wright Design Co. evokes the violet tones of dusk, while lighter undertones add warmth and serenity.

I was inspired by the hues of a sunset and the late evening. The darker-toned cardstocks are balanced out by a whimsical flower petal design.
