OPENING MARCH 2024 - Venue 983 in Northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a modern wedding venue with nods to timeless art deco in the renovated space that formally lay backdrop to a salon & beauty bar created by Horst Rechelbacher. Now refreshed by the masterminds behind the Hemisphere Restaurants concepts; The Tavern Grill Restaurant + Bar locations, Tazā Fresh Mediterranean locations, Sphere Bar in the Skyway and countless unforgettable past concepts with many future brands to come. Our team has over 25 years of full-service catering and wedding reception experience in Minnesota and beyond. We are delighted to welcome couples to our brand-new event venue, Venue 983.

Facilities and Capacity

The upscale and stylish new Venue 983 opens its doors to every type of celebration, from cocktail receptions and weddings to banquet-style events and large rehearsal dinners. This fully customizable location can be decorated and transformed to suit the color, style, theme, and vibe of every couple's dream wedding. For a seated meal and reception, Venue 983 can accommodate up to 250 family and friends for a lavish, grand celebration. If desired, an open house plan with no need for tables and chairs can welcome significantly more people than 250.

Catering Onsite

Our Venue 983 catering team have a genuine love and passion for what they do. Our cuisine is built on unforgettable flavors, customized menus, and chefs with a wealth of expertise in the kitchen. From formal coursed menus to approachable buffet options, no matter the vision our kitchen can bring it to light. Our event coordinators will work with each couple one-on-one to create an unforgettable experience.

Spaces

Venue 983 front room lays a stunning open concept space equipped with a timeless bar where fresh libations flow. This space lends itself to dreamy indoor ceremony space, cocktail & mingling space and/or rehearsal dinners. Art deco inspired tile flooring guide guests up to ornate gold doors which open to our main banquet dining room with plentiful space for an unforgettable reception. Additionally, our getting ready suite offers a stylish backdrop for preparing for the big day. Just outside our front doors lie lush garden seating allowing guests or the couple a place of tranquillity.
